Logistics and Transportation Professional, with experience in Retail, Foodservice Distribution, 3PL Logistics. Providing expertise in Leadership, Supply Chain, Negotiations, Talent Development, and Governance. Have been engaged in DE & I for several years, serving on the D&I Council at Sysco, and currently working with our I&D team at TJX. Being an Hispanic has made me even more aware of the need for DE & I to be a part of our culture in the workplace. Honored to participate in Non-Profits over the years. Currently working on the Advisory Board for The Root Cause, a Health Ministry founded in the US in 2014 to focus on improving the quality and quantity of life for those affected by chronic illness who live in at-risk or underserved communities. Support and work on the Prevention of Human Trafficking, at local, state, and national levels. Served as the Local Director for Seeds of Hope, a 501c3 non-profit serving the educational needs of Charlotte inner city children by fulfilling their future dreams raising funds for their college education. A member of Team Burundi, a non-profit group created after an enlightening trip to Africa in October 2008 supporting the work of ALARM, African Leadership & Reconciliation Ministries in the countries of Rwanda & Burundi. ALARM is focused on improving tribal relations and their impact on these war torn nations. Served on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts Hornets Nest Council in Charlotte for 5 years, serving girls in 7 counties! Provided strategic planning for innovative programs designed to teach Leadership while building Confidence, Character, & Courage into the lives of the young women we supported!
