Maintaining a secure server estate on the NRTS (National Roads Telecommunications Services) infrastructure• Lead on technical escalations and queries for SMS operations, including liaising with 3rd party vendors• Provide technical support to end user devices, this includes desktop, tablet and mobile phone• Backup management with Backup Exec• Utilising PowerShell to provide reports for auditors and managers• Schedule and perform software or hardware upgrades, patches and reconfigurations in line with security policies and procedures• Maintaining and supporting an O365 Hybrid with Exchange 2010 environment• Knowledge transfer, mentoring team members • Maintaining Sophos and McAfee Anti-Virus, ensuring end devices are protected & up to date• Supporting VMware version 5.5, 6.0 & 6.7 and Hyper-V hosts in the server estate• Daily administration of Active Directory
