Responsible for operating refinery logistics area through Honeywell-based operating systems i.e.( DCS, Experion, Native Windows) and Delta-V (Emerson) in accordance with defined operating parameters. Direct outside operators on making adjustments where needed to control refinery processes efficiently. Work with constant communication with other units and 3rd party vendors to ensure smooth operational conditions. This position also is responsible for continuously monitoring and controlling process variables, i.e, regulating temperature, pressure, rate of flow, and tank levels in the petroleum refining unit in order to meet specifications and operate the plant safely, reliably, and cost-effectively. Complete reports when required and report to upper management on unit status. Coordinate and execute accurate pipeline shipments ensuring quality and quantity. Optimize production by reviewing laboratory results and adjusting plant operations. Assist business planning in carrying out the current business plan for pipeline shipments, loading of barges, ships, and enhancement of unit operations. Record all unit movements using accounting software,(OMM/TIS) to accurately account for all products that we handle on the unit.
