About Rahul Ragesh

I am a Data and Applied Scientist in the Microsoft Advertising Team. Prior to this, I was a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research (MSR), India. During my two years at MSR, I worked on Graph Representation Learning to effectively utilize relational information to improve recommendations across Microsoft Office Products and explored few applications of Graph Neural Networks (GNNs). Besides that, I have dabbled with few vision-based projects as a part of my internship at MSR and my undergraduate thesis. During my undergrad years, working with embedded systems, hardware, robotics, mechanical design, 3D modeling and printing, simulations, etc got me excited. My latest research publications/preprints are available at & hl=en. I graduated with a Bachelors in ECE from PES University, in 2019. I am a pianist and make time for violin and guitar. Currently trying my hand at music composition and production (Open for jamming!). An athlete at heart, I enjoy sprints, cricket, badminton and kabbadi. I love reading and listening to books. Lately, art, history, and languages have piqued my interest!
