I have a leadership experience of over two decades in the Armed Forces leading multicultural and geographically dispersed teams with demonstrated results under VUCA conditions. My functional expertise is in managing Operations and steering Projects (Product development/ Process improvements/ Infrastructure). I have a penchant for leveraging data to indicate opportunities for improvement and measure performance/ success with a focus on reducing costs/ increasing efficiencies. I have formulated Strategies aimed at improving efficiencies in Operations and Supply Chain Management and converted them into actionable plans and SOPs. Selected twice to represent the country abroad, the last one being responsible for Supply Chain and Logistics of a multinational UN environment, where I was awarded for deliberate planning and outstanding leadership. In my last assignment, I was instrumental in Conceptualizing the Long term Capex and Opex procurement plan for equipment, ammunition and spares to support Army’s future Strategy and Operations. I also steered multiple end to end (requirements definition, scoping, testing, delivery and after sales support) strategic Product Development and Procurement Projects in collaboration with the technical leads, global stakeholders and the Ministry, ensuring delivery well within project timelines and budgets meeting quality requirements. My experience encompasses a wide range of activities including but not limited to setting up new entities, driving strategies, P&L management, evolution of performance measurement metrics, driving process improvements and transformation projects including organizational restructuring, vendor management and contract/ service level management A quintessential learner and PMP (PMI USA) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (IASSC) certified, I can leverage data visualization tools and Machine Learning algorithms to solve business problems.
