Contributed to a range of healthcare-focused web applications and internal tools for a Canadian medical platform, working across both frontend and backend development. Frontend Development for Clinical Platforms: frontend development for enterprise-level clinical management platforms using Angular and MUI. My work involved creating a library of reusable UI components, building responsive layouts, and integrating RESTful APIs to power key features like user onboarding and appointment booking systems. State Management & Reactivity: Implemented robust state management using NgRx and RxJS to ensure a smooth, reactive, and predictable data flow throughout the applications, enhancing user experience and maintainability. AI-Powered Document Automation: Supported the development of an AI-driven internal tool for automating fax processing. I contributed to the Python backend by developing PDF parsing logic and integrating LLMs (like OpenAI and Gemini) for clinical data extraction, all within a fault-tolerant workflow managed by Temporal. Real-Time Transcription Tool: Assisted in creating a real-time SOAP note generation tool integrated with a leading EMR system. I focused on backend development using FastAPI and WebSockets to enable live data transfer and helped integrate third-party services like Twilio and Whisper for seamless voice transcription.
