You see the outcome immediately.Today, I run equity trading and AIF investments at a bank level. That means taking proprietary positions, allocating capital across fund strategies, and working within the constraints that actually matter: risk, liquidity, and regulation.My path hasn’t been limited to markets. I’ve worked across credit, trade finance, branch, retail & SME banking, asset recovery, and sales, to name a few. I’ve seen how decisions move from balance sheets to real customers and businesses.Alongside that, I’ve spent years building depth in AI/ML, including formal training and work with IBM. My focus is on systems, not demos. Forecasting, market behavior, and decision frameworks that hold up when conditions change.There’s a gap I keep running into.Those who understand models haven’t managed real capital pressure, and those who understand markets haven’t built systems.I’ve worked on both sides.Now I’m focused on applying AI to decision making, trading, risk, and banking systems in a way that survives realworld constraints.The experience I have, ie, the combination, is genuinely rare. Almost no quants have ever felt what a treasury desk actually feels like at 3pm on expiry day, and almost no trader can build an ML pipeline from scratch. I sit at THAT EXACT intersection.
