About Rahul Aggarwal
I am a Senior Software Engineer @ UberPrior to Uber, I worked at Google for approx 2 years in Payments Platform Team. Worked on migrating code from tez(india) stack to payments platform stack to achieve the aim of unified payments at Google. Prior to Google, I worked at Microsoft for 5 years in Microsoft Azure Backup Team. I worked on Backup and Recovery Solutions for IaaSVMs(Infrastructure as a Service Virtual Machine). I was the owner of Data Transfer Microservice whose purpose was to take incremental backups and support quick restores. Data Transfer Microservice transfers nearly TeraBytes of data every day. I also worked on improving the scalability, reliability, resiliency, availability and efficiency of this service. In 2016, I graduated with B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering(CSE) from IIT Guwahati.
