May 2025 – Present Location: MumbaiAs a Level Nutanix Infrastructure Engineer, I was responsible for managing and maintaining a largescale virtualized and Public cloud environment. Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Planning & Implementation:(1) Maintained detailed documentation for hardware procurement, including storage, compute, and network requirements.(2) Led the physical implementation of hardware in data centers, including rack mounting, cabling, and initial configuration. Cluster Deployment & Testing:(1) Deployed and configured Nutanix clusters, performed failover testing at both switch and cluster levels to ensure high availability.(2) Conducted system hardening on VMs and servers post deployment to meet security and compliance standards.(3) Executed migration activities for workloads from legacy infrastructure to Nutanix clusters. Operations & Monitoring:(1) Monitored Nutanix clusters daily using Prism and inhouse tools, addressing alerts and performance issues proactively.(2) Managed snapshot creation, VM cloning, replication, and backup operations based on business requirements.(3) Maintained comprehensive documentation for infrastructure changes, incidents, and standard operating procedures. Data Center & DR Management:(1) Oversaw data center operations, including DC, DR readiness.
