   As an Area Engineering Manager, I am responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure the successful planning, construction, and compliance of our facilities. My primary duties include performing facility planning and budgeting to meet both operational goals and environmental regulations. I oversee permitting for our assigned facilities and evaluate bid documents to ensure we are working with the best possible contractors and suppliers.Monitoring construction schedules is a key part of my role, allowing me to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. I act as a liaison with governmental agencies, employees, and internal customers, facilitating smooth communication and cooperation across all stakeholders. Additionally, I prepare regulatory correspondence and submittals, ensuring all our operations comply with relevant laws and standards.In my supervisory capacity, I oversee the production of all internally generated engineering designs, CAD drawings, construction plans, and GPS files. I provide daily supervision on site, ensuring all activities are executed according to plan. I also conduct peer reviews of third-party engineering designs and drawings, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
