Responsible for analyzing PRs, preparing RFQs with MDPs & MDRLs, floating this RFQ set to approved vendors as per project AVLs. • Getting quotations on time from suppliers, preparing Bid Recommendation sheet as per received quotations. • Negotiating suppliers to the extent to achieve best cost avoidance, hard savings & best possible deliveries with quality product. • Getting Bid Recommendation Sheet (BRS) approved by project manager. • Preparing PO in SAP S/4 Hana to the best supplier as per the approved BRS from projects & attaching BRS, checklist, quotations & supplementary data to the PO. • Getting PO approved by Procurement manager & sending POs to supplier with MDPs & MDRL via Email & SAP. • Expediting order acknowledgements & pre-production documents from vendors & getting these pre-production documents approved from engineering & quality departments. • Leading Kickoff Meeting (KOM) & Pre-Production Meeting (PPM) for placed POs & discussing any concerns going ahead keeping engineering, quality & project departments in loop. • Adhering to KPIs laid by organizations such as PR to PO conversions, on time deliveries as per site need date, cost avoidance & hard savings, reducing vendor NCRs & implementing improvement cards. • Sending collection requests to the logistics team which include shipping documents, commercial invoice & packing list, once material is ready for dispatch after MRB approval & final inspection release note.
