About Rahul Satija

As a Georgetown Law student and a Global Law Scholar, I bring a diverse background in law, journalism, and research to my legal studies. Prior to law school, I worked as a journalist covering corporate and energy, honing my analytical and investigative skills. I also gained experience as a legal assistant at the Supreme Court of India, where I assisted in researching constitutional and regulatory matters, including corporate taxation and international trade disputes. This experience deepened my understanding of tax law, administrative litigation, and cross-border financial regulations. Additionally, I worked at an immigration law firm, strengthening my knowledge of complex legal frameworks and advocacy. At Georgetown, I have served as a research assistant, working on international economic law, and as a staff editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law. My leadership extends to my involvement with the First Generation Student Union and as a mentor with RISE, where I support fellow students navigating legal education.
