Performance and NPSH testing of different model of centrifugal pumps including single Stage & multistage pumps ex. OH, BB and VS category pumps as per API 610 standard.Also attend & offer pump to the customer for inspection and making their final reports for All API and non-API pumps as per QAP. Analyse pump performance like flow, head, power, pump efficiency, NPSHR and able to Give suitable impeller trimming for required parameters of single stage pumps.Understanding of pump hydraulics, working and application to the pumping solution. Technical analysis of mechanical data sheet prepared for pump as per API 610 standard And sound knowledge of API 682. Familiar with equipment’s mounted or installed on the pump packages. Having intricate knowledge on various pump performance test standards like HIS-14•••11, API 610-8Th,10th and 11th Edition and ISO 9906 Hands of experience on forced LUBE oil system knowing all connections and mountings Also familiar with pure mist and purge oil system. Skilled in solving problems occurred during mechanical run of pump like rise in bearing Temperature, abnormal behaviour of pump,oil leak, analysis of vibration spectra (filtered) Guessing the cause of vibration and to limit it. Having a master hand on g-CATS (global-Computer Assisted Testing Software) is a Sulzer Global automation project for computerised testing and analysis of pumps. Well understanding of electrical technology like selection of suitable motor and electrical Connection. Application of VFD, OLTC, Breaker as per suitability and compatibility of Electrical system. Individual shift handling and making arrangement for pump mounting with proper gauges, RTDs and piping knowing all standard classes of valves, flanges, pipes. Making quick Decision to the problems occurred during shift for effective utilisation of man power with Their skills.
