Standard and Poor has signed a very large offshore delivery contract with Wipro Limited. The entire estate for S&P covers multiple technologies like Wintel, Unix, patch management, Backup, Network Data, Security, Active Directory, Storage, etc. Monitoring of these devices/application is done using tools like Splunk, SCOM, Nagios, Sitescope, Solarwinds, Evolven. Currently migrating all the on-premise tools to Datadog.I am responsible to ensure that all the estate is covered from monitoring perspective with reference to infrastructure, application, custom requirements. Maintaining uptime of tools, software currency, automating daily tasks improving efficiency & reduced errors.
