Role and Responsibility:Heading the GAC China Centre with 25 analysts supporting S&P Global. Along with China operations I also led a team of about 70 analysts supporting S&P Corporates and Infrastructure teams for APAC and EMEA region; responsibilities include workflow management, supervising quality, mentoring, coaching and periodic appraisal of team members. People development responsibility includes resource management, talent retention & engagement, training & development, share best practices and provide feedback.Complete ownership of building and maintaining relationships with S&P senior management, enhancing engagement and scope of work, and regular liaising to gauge feedback and satisfaction.Other responsibilities include pitch for and handle process transition/migration, provide technical support to Director, and lead & guide focus groups.Domain knowledge: Extensive experience in credit ratings, financial modelling support, and business planning and strategy formulation. My work at CRISIL has helped me develop strong domain expertise and ability to assess credit quality. I also have a demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring teams, to attain a discernible improvement in work quality.Other skills: Sound operating knowledge of MS Office with high proficiency in Excel. Also hold a green belt in quality.
