I am responsible for handling all secured loans of ₹50 Lakhs and above across the entire state of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, and act as the Nodal Officer for Sampda 2.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the legal aspects of high-value secured loans (₹50 Lakhs and above) across multiple regions.Empanel and coordinate with a network of 25+ lawyers across different locations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of legal reports.Vet, review, and modify legal reports in line with product requirements and property types.Draft, vet, and finalize legal documents including agreements, legal opinions, Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds (MOD), and Registered Mortgage Deeds (RM).Evaluate and recommend deviations in cases not fully aligned with legal requirements but compliant with internal policies of the financial institution.Conduct regular training sessions for Sales, Operations, and Credit teams to align them with changing policies and local legal frameworks.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Transfer of Property Act, Registration Act, RERA, Stamp Duty Act, and SARFAESI Act.Liaise with government authorities to facilitate smooth execution of transactions.Maintain updated knowledge of state-specific laws, court precedents, and regulatory developments, activities of Local Authorities impacting secured lending.Support audits and internal compliance reviews by ensuring all legal documentation is complete and up to date.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for legal processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
