   I am working as Global New Product Introduction commodity Manager. I am taking care for all the New Product Introduction related activities for HFS business. I am the first point of contact between the technology and Sourcing.Successfully developed right parts the first time during early stage of product development.Worked in close coordination with Global EMS companies to ensured that development and trial run boards were delivered on time and to spec. to support NPI launch.Initiated supplier quality evaluation and development including, on-site audits and lean initiatives.Enforced and suggested changes in the existing Honeywell processes. Developed new processes to improve the performance of team; led the negotiation of long term agreements with suppliers.Demonstrated analytical skills with proven expertise in communication and relationship management. Successfully executed NPI programs and ensured that the program does not get late because of sourcing.Developing and implementing key procurement strategies for commodities and ensuring that plans are aligned with all contractual & statutory requirements while ensuring project schedule. Identifying new potential vendors for strategic sourcing; ensuring purchase schedules against the purchase plan for timely procurement of all items to ensure smooth manufacturing. Negotiating with vendors for procuring essential materials at reasonable price, developing vendors for better price, quality and delivery. Developing long-term partnerships with local & foreign suppliers; acquiring techno-commercial offers from various vendors. Monitoring quality of procured material through regular meetings and interactions with suppliers for timely supply & services at competitive cost; negotiating complex commercial agreements with vendors.
