As a SOC Analyst at Wipro, I contribute to ensuring organizational security by monitoring and triaging security alerts through SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, and MS Sentinel. My responsibilities include analyzing logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EDR, and servers to detect threats, investigating incidents, distinguishing false positives, and escalating verified threats to L2/L3 teams. I have foundational knowledge of cloud security principles in Google Cloud Platform, including IAM, VPC security, encryption, and monitoring. I also assist in implementing incident response procedures, maintaining case notes, and improving detection processes in collaboration with the team. I’m passionate about staying ahead of evolving threats and aspire to grow into roles focused on advanced threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence (CTI), or security engineering.
