ABOUT RAHUL CHATURVEDI

I am a Storage Management professional with more than 10 years of experience in the IT Services domain. Currently associated with Capgemini, India as a Consultant – Storage Management & Cloud Operations wherein; I am responsible for carrying out duties related to storage allocations & reclamations, managing LUN activities including expansion & migration, and overseeing vendor/customer management during hardware failure report generation. During my career, I have gained many skills which help me thrive as a Consultant like, customer relationship management, storage allocations, troubleshooting, storage management, and safety & compliance management.I am also technically competent with using several tools like EMC PowerPath, VMAX, Logical Unit Number (LUN), Symmetrix Remote Data Facility (SRDF), Storage Area Network (SAN), Timefinder Mirror, Microsoft Azure, AWS, IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, Amazon S3, etc. I am dexterous in using backup technologies like EMC Avamor, EMC NetWorker on L1 support and performing tasks like daily health checks, restoration, reporting, on-demand backup run etc. Well versed with storage allocations & reclamations, capacity management, and vendor management to ensure seamless running of work. I am skilful in executing clone operations, running DR tests, configuring Symmetrix remote replication, troubleshooting storage & switches, and FA utilisation. I possess good troubleshooting & problem-solving skills which help in understanding issues faced and finding creative solutions to deal with them. I retain expertise in performing timely health-checks for all storage systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and prevention of any possible glitches.
