I\'m a writer at heart. I\'ve taken the reporting and writing skills I honed as a journalist and applied them to a varied number of jobs in the world of digital marketing that\'s spanned the gamut from writing to marketing at a bootstrapped startup to my current role as a director.Sure, we can talk about Strunk and White, search engine optimization, maximizing ROI and account based marketing if you\'d like. But you should know that my work philosophy is pretty simple: stay curious and stay learning. Take on new challenges. Know how to collaborate. Keep the big picture in mind. Find smart people and then learn everything you can from them.In my previous role as a product marketer I was tasked with launching and owning a content marketing strategy, generating our product marketing positioning and differentiation, and developing and executing go-to-market strategies. As a digital marketing analyst at eMarketer, I developed a model for global reports that were constantly at the top of our annual list for most downloaded content. I launched and then managed a daily newsletter focused on digital marketing in Asia-Pacific that covered China and India, as well as the emerging economies of Southeast Asia. Then I took on the role of senior mobile analyst and helped develop a coverage strategy intended to keep our readers at the leading edge of mobile marketing practices.In addition, I have a deep and abiding love for documentary film. I\'ve directed and produced several short documentary films that have screened in places like the Museum of Modern Art and the Harvard Film Archive. I\'ve written extensively about documentaries and worked at film festivals, which has given me the chance to talk with personal heroes like Werner Herzog (!) and Frederick Wiseman (!).
