I’m a Senior data engineer and platform leader with 9+ years of experience building and scaling cloud-native data systems that power analytics, decision-making, and business operations.Over the course of my career, I’ve evolved from hands-on engineering roles into owning large-scale data platforms end to end — designing ingestion pipelines, building analytics-ready data models, improving data quality and observability, and enabling teams to confidently use data at scale.Currently at The Walt Disney Company, I help lead enterprise data platforms supporting multiple applications. My work spans designing and deploying Spark-based pipelines, AWS and Snowflake ecosystems, dbt modeling standards, data validation frameworks, and performance optimization — with a strong focus on turning complex, fragmented data into reliable, usable datasets for analytics and reporting.I enjoy operating as a player-coach: staying hands-on with the technology while mentoring engineers, reviewing designs, prioritizing work, and partnering closely with fiannce, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into durable data solutions.

   I’m a Senior Data Engineer who owns the design and reliability of large-scale data platforms supporting multiple studio applications.At Disney, I’ve helped move our teams from a traditional AWS-based data lake to a governed Snowflake and dbt-based medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). The goal has always been practical: scale data pipelines reliably, improve data quality, and make analytics easier for teams to trust and use. I work end to end across the platform, from ingestion and CDC pipelines to modeling, versioning, and production support, processing over 100M records daily.A big part of my role has been setting up the right foundations so teams can build consistently. This includes dbt modeling standards, versioning and metadata conventions, incremental strategies, and automated data validation. These patterns are now reused across studios to build Silver and Gold analytics layers without starting from scratch each time.I also spend a lot of time in a player-coach role. I review designs, mentor engineers, and step in during complex or high-risk initiatives to help teams move forward with confidence. I care about building data systems that are not just scalable, but easy to operate and trusted by the people who rely on them.
