Nominated representative of the Railways to the Parliamentary committees on Labour, Hindi, Women empowerment. Member of CACLB - Appellate committee on labour to resolve disputes Chairperson of committee for complaints on sexual harassment of women at workplace Secretary of the Zonal Railway Users Consultative committee of Northern Railway. Secretary of the Mahila Samiti (an NGO)- working for the welfare of staff and also to organise events to raise funds. Secretary General of the Federation of Association and later President of the Association - resolved issues affecting officers and negotiated with the Railway Minister, Railway board and the Finance Ministry and even the Pay Commission for a better appreciation of a duty of a railway officer. Secretary of the joint consultative machinery forum of the two federations of unions to resolve issues jointly.
