ABOUT RAGINI KHULLAR
I am a third culture kid with a strong passion for healthcare equity, research, and action. My lived experience as a first generation Indian immigrant who has lived in six different counties allows me to leverage a multifaceted view point on the short comings of our healthcare system. I am currently a research assistant working at INSPIRE lab, behavior technician at Central Texas Autism Center, laboratory intern with the Texas DSHS newborn screening program, and undergraduate grading assistant at the University of Texas. I have had previous experiences as a compliance and quality intern at People\'s Community Clinic-a federally qualified health center in Austin, Texas, a research intern at United States Pharmacopeia, and a community engagement intern at Asian Family Support Services of Austin. As a research assistant, I currently contribute to the HRSA Healthy Start Grant at INSPIRE Lab by creating a data management guide, collecting and evaluate qualitative data through semi-structured interviews, conducting quarterly data checks and visualizations, preparing and publishing manuscripts, and presenting my findings at conferences. I look forward to building my skills in public health as I begin my graduate program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health this fall!
