I don’t think I chose marketing. I think I’ve always just looked at the world through that lens. I pause ads mid-play to screenshot copy. I remember billboard taglines better than birthdays. I’ve pitched new product lines while grocery shopping. It’s just how I’m wired. What I love most is the part before the campaign; when it’s still messy and soulful, with more questions than answers. The why. The what if. The how do we make this feel real to someone who doesn’t even know they need it yet? I’ve worked on launches, naming, campaigns, research, events, and internships, but what matters more than the list is that I’m always the one in the room asking, “But does this actually connect?” I’m currently at Ogilvy, and heading to London in September to finish my degree and dive into more global brand storytelling.
