ABOUT RAGHAVRAJ KAKAR
I am a graduate of Amity Law School Noida, 2021 batch. I have also completed my post-graduation in Law (IP) from Amity Law School Noida, 2022 batch. I have always been interested in the application of law to the constantly evolving field of intellectual property rights. To pursue my interests, I wrote my dissertation on the subject of copyright law entitled “Doctrine for “Work for Hire” under the Copyright Law: Critical Analysis of UK, US and Indian cases” in which I attempted to present the concept of the doctrine and how the evolutional of it has benefitted the world of copyright laws. I have mentioned the landmark cases of the UK, US and India and concluded by tracing the importance of the doctrine. I am currently working with Midland Credit Management since December 2022 as Corporate Legal Counsel. Apart from that my work consists of conducting thorough reviews and analyses of accounts and documents to determine appropriate treatment in accordance with established standard operating procedures and maintaining close communication with paralegals and attorneys to address any questions or concerns regarding the process, and escalated issues as needed.
