About Raghavendra Lawaniya
Since the age of 13, I have firm belief that Renewable Energy is the way to go for a sustainable living and today I feel immense pleasure seeing that my belief is shared by millions of people across the planet.Renewable Energy is not only the need of the hour but also an industry with comparatively fewer risks (than conventional energy) with better returns and a ton of scope for improvements as risk mitigation, and optimization be it prospect, execution or operation phase of a project. I have developed skills that can help the organization taking informed and balanced decisions thus getting the maximum from a project.I am an Electrical engineer specializing in Solar PV projects with a dash of financial knowledge and most importantly, I know how valuable optimizations are.In my career, I have been mostly responsible for detailed design and engineering of Solar PV plants, but I have also come across opportunities to build skills & understanding in project finance, construction, project management, O&M with few months of experience in sales and BD as well.Due to the skill set & experience acquired, my contribution to a PV plant starts from the day of its inception until its operational lifetime is achieved.As I have learned, a project is like a war and to win a war you have to show leadership & ownership with excellent teamwork spirit. Project execution time is the true test of a person’s capabilities and gladly I have been through many mammoth projects executed under tight timelines.I would be happy to discuss the learnings and experiences, so the mistakes we made are not repeated again.
