About Raghav Singhal

Working hard towards my goals since the early days of my education, I worked out of the capacity of my course to learn the real lessons of running an organization. This entrepreneurial spirit has always been the key factor of my learning and has always propelled me in my search for new meaningful ways of honing a business. During my education in India I started up my business enterprise of traditional Indian apparels. Right from the beginning the work was challenging, involving procurement of goods, inventory management, maintaining invoices and accounts and efficient sales management to ensure peak performance of my store.Unfortunately, later that year my business encountered a big hit from the sudden Demonetization. I was struggling to sustain through this sudden downfall of business, the entire tax regime of India was reformed under the Goods and Service Tax bringing my products under taxable goods where earlier they were not. This proved to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for my store as this seriously affected the margins of business which was now struggling to break even. I realized that I require formal education in a course that would aid me acquire information management skills.Originally from India, I came to United States to pursue Masters in Information Technology and Management after completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications and Bachelors of Commerce ( Honors ).Over the years I developed technical skills such as Programming in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, R for Data Analytics and SAP for Data Warehousing. I have gained expertise in MS Excel for analysis and in Tableau for Data Visualization.My Other Skills and Software include- MS Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point, Visual Paradigm, SAP ERP and project management skills such as Microsoft project, JIRA and other agile methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum and Agile waterfall. Visual Basics, Cascading style sheets, HTML Etc.
