SKILLS
ABOUT RAGE BRAHIMI
I specialise in building scalable, data‑centric systems and applying Artificial Intelligence to create innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business performance. At Collinson Group I work as a Lead AI Engineer driving research and prototyping of Artificial Intelligence applications with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). My work spans prompt engineering, vector search, model evaluation and experimentation with both open‑source and commercial models. I explore emerging tools, build proof‑of‑concepts and assess how AI can be embedded into internal workflows, developer tooling or customer‑facing platforms to deliver measurable impact.Alongside technical delivery I actively promote AI adoption across the organisation by collaborating with teams across business units to identify opportunities, share knowledge and demonstrate the value of emerging technologies. This includes running internal workshops, fostering cross‑functional partnerships and helping stakeholders translate AI capabilities into practical solutions aligned with strategic goals. Before transitioning into AI as a Senior AI Engineer I worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Collinson. I integrated third‑party APIs into core systems, delivered backend services with TypeScript, Node.js and GraphQL and supported the development of new features while improving reliability through bug fixes, functional enhancements and code quality initiatives.Earlier in my career at Sky I developed interactive data dashboards using React, TypeScript and Elasticsearch. I also contributed to backend modernisation efforts with PHP, Go and Kubernetes, improving CI/CD processes and internal tooling through thoughtful API design and system‑level enhancements. Over time I became increasingly focused on applying AI techniques to improve data insights and enhance system capabilities.I’m deeply curious and enjoy working where research meets engineering. Whether I’m exploring LLM applications or refining backend systems I’m passionate about building intelligent, sustainable software that delivers long‑term value.FAO Recruiters: I’m interested in predominantly Typescript oriented roles. No startup opportunities right now.
