Planning, Organizing, Leading & Controlling the operations of a Non-Ferrous scrap metal recycling facility & staff management (+- 50 employees & Lb weekly production)- Responsible for managing Non-Ferrous department- Responsible for machinery inspections (cranes, fork-lifts and skid-steers)- Responsible for receiving non-ferrous multi loads, inspect the materials base in our quality standards, check for any discrepancy weight against client packing slip- Responsible for booking Intercompany loads- Responsible for manage the receiving schedule for live loads and loads dropped in the parking according to priority - Responsible for inspection the quality of finish goods before placing to the shipping warehouse- Assisting different departments in making decisions about how to process non-ferrous materials (brass, copper, lead, zinc, aluminum, insulated wires, etc.)- Plan, delegate and follow-up on daily activities- Developing techniques about how to process non-ferrous materials in order to reduce sorting costs- Advising staff from other divisions such as how to process & package non-ferrous materials, providing estimates of recoveries in insulated wires and materials with some kind of contamination- Inform our clients & divisions about quality problems (pictures and explaining what the problem is)- Training staff- Provide support to the buyers- Work in conjunction with the health and safety department to meet all safety and security policies- Inventory control- Quality control- Production- Supervision- Health & Safety- Daily tasks (phone, fax, photocopy, e-mail, reports, etc.)* Knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)* Recycling software system RECY * 21st Century Programming / Recycling operations manager ROM
