ABOUT RAFAEL LOPEZ

I’m a marketing and strategy leader with 15+ years of experience building brands, scaling businesses, and growing communities—across SaaS, energy, retail, and consulting. I’ve helped companies move from early traction to market leadership, scaling recurring revenue, launching new platforms, and leading brand and content strategies that connect. My background includes senior roles in both corporate and founder-led environments, with a strong foundation in energy infrastructure, digital transformation, and purpose-driven storytelling. I bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and commercial discipline—plus the leadership experience to guide teams through growth and change. I’ve also built a successful marketing consultancy, served as a community builder for national and local brands, and currently sit on the Board of Directors for Run Calgary. I hold an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business, and when I’m not working, you’ll find me chasing finish lines: I’ve raced multiple marathons, completed two Ironman triathlons, and founded YYCRunCrew, a run community with thousands of members. I’m always interested in roles where strategy, momentum, and meaning intersect—whether that’s brand leadership, growth marketing, or consulting.
