Rafiq is an International Award Winnipeg Entrepreneur and a Podcaster. A Chartered Certified Accountant (UK) by qualification and a Certified Internal Auditor (US). Rafiq has over 20 years of extensive experience in Entrepreneurship, Community Service and Corporate Finance.After working with Ernst & Young for almost a decade in three different geographies, in 2008, Rafiq got associated with AECOM, a Fortune 500 Engineering Consultancy company. At AECOM, Rafiq spearheaded major projects such as Sarbanes Oxley and Oracle implementations, and thereafter lead project finance teams across Middle East, Western Canada & U.S. northern states. Project management, business plans, budgeting, cash flow forecasting - are some of his specialties. With all this core financial experience and a desire to share knowledge, Rafiq launched AccuRoot Financial Solutions with a primary objective to assist small and midsize businesses. His vision at AccuRoot Financial Solutions is to provide complete start-up and growth consultancy, as well as bookkeeping services.Since the successful launch of AccuRoot, Rafiq has also started Anago Cleaning Systems of Manitoba. As Master Franchiser for Anago in Manitoba, Rafiq has helped over 30 franchisees launch their business and have also provided professional, affordable and reliable cleaning services to Manitoba businesses. Since being an active member of the business community in Winnipeg, Rafiq noticed that there is a big gap in the service industry for companies that take care of Seniors and Adults with Dis-Abilities. Rafiq and his team understand the service industry really well and decided to fill this gap. In 2018 Rafiq brought Right At Home Canada to Winnipeg, a world-leading company in the Home Health Care industry. A successful entrepreneur, community worker, volunteer, & a family man – Rafiq believes in Hope, Honesty & Hard Work.
