Directly responsible to the Senior Director, Regulatory Compliance, Training and Safety, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:1) integrating quality, safety and customer standards at vendors to meet all airworthiness and safety of flight requirements; 2) developing quality oversight standards and metrics;3) identifying training needs to establish and enhance the process of continuous quality improvement; 4) developing, designing and implementing training programs to maintain continuous quality improvement;5) in conjunction with ACM QA, developing and deploying an operational quality oversight system to ensure the integrity of AC operations;6) establishing corrective action plans to minimize or eliminate risk due to vendor quality and/or operational and safety issues; 7) being accountable to ensure that vendors comply with relevant civil aviation authority (CAA) conditions and requirements, including regulations set by the applicable regulatory authority, TC, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA);8) reviewing and recommending improvements to existing processes to enhance the safety and reliability of the AC fleet;9) ensuring corrective action plans are implemented from quality escapes, safety and regulatory audits and on-site inspections; and10) managing and conducting quarterly quality meeting with vendors to implement corrective action plans.
