ABOUT RAFIAH MINNA

As a second-year student at The Ohio State University pursuing a major in Public Policy Analysis, I am passionately committed to contributing to a culture of diversity and inclusion in learning. Through my involvement in the Law and Society Scholars program, I am privileged to engage with a community of peers and professionals alike who share my passion for social justice and policy advocacy. In addition to my academic pursuits, I currently serve as an intern at Ohio Municipal League where I am gaining valuable experience in legislative operations while contributing to the organization\'s mission of policy change in villages and townships across Ohio. Prior to this role, I have had the opportunity of working with organizations such as Community Refugee and Immigration Services, where I dedicated myself to assisting vulnerable communities in Central Columbus.My journey in public service and policy advocacy began during my high school years, where I actively participated in various political campaigns. These experiences have instilled in me a deep-seated commitment to harboring positive change through informed policy decisions whilst being on the pre-law track. I am enthusiastic about exploring opportunities to further my knowledge and skills in the field of public policy and am eager to leverage my background and passion to make meaningful contributions to the study.
