Hello! I’m Rafiah, an Economics major with a minor in Political Science at Rutgers University–Newark, enrolled in the 3+3 BA/JD Law Program. I will complete my Bachelor of Arts in 2029 and continue directly into Rutgers Law School, where I plan to earn my Juris Doctor in 2031.I’m interested in the intersection of economics, policy, and corporate law, and I enjoy breaking down complex ideas, strengthening my research and writing skills, and applying what I learn in the classroom to real-world legal and business contexts. My academic path so far has helped me develop a strong analytical foundation and a growing interest in how law shapes markets, institutions, and decision-making once issues and difficult circumstances arise.Ultimately, I aspire to build a career as a corporate attorney, using the law not just as a profession, but as a practical tool for problem-solving, advocacy, justice, and change.
