ABOUT RAFFI NAZIKIAN
Raffi Nazikian is currently a senior director in Magnetic Fusion Energy at General Atomics. In a prior role, he served as the director of the ITER and tokamak department at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, a twice recipient of the Kaul Award for research excellence in plasma physics, an advisory board member for the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, a member of the International Tokamak Physics Activity Coordinating Committee (ITPA-CC), and a distinguished lecturer of the American Physical Society. He holds a PhD in Plasma Physics from The Australian National University and a BSc (Hon) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
