By being in charge of the IT infrastructure of a mission-critical container terminal for 20+ years, I developed an intuitive foresight for technical and administrative details. On the other hand, as Head of LAC IT Infrastructure, I developed workgroup skills by leading 9 Business Units in Mexico, Bahamas and Panama where I had to align technologies and efforts while providing centralized shared services. This responsibility can`t be achieved without the cooperation of 15+ skilled technicians under my supervision and a great relationship with multidisciplinary partners of the organization, always under the scrutiny from Hong-Kong headquarter.Balancing the stability of productive systems while maintaining a leading-edge and cost-effective technology is a challenge I have enjoyed for decades.
