Jun 2014 — Present · Houston, TX, US

Delivered field studies on several conventional/unconventional projects of Pemex that derived in the production optimization over 30% for the Nejo & Miquetla fields described below.•Nejo Field (415+ wells producing gas/condensate/volatile oil): defined a Dynamic Flow model & depicted a hypothetical Formation Pressure Profile of the different blocks/paying zones using a non-conventional way. Identified/quantified reserves of potential up hole/downhole producing layers.•Miquetla Field (122+ wells producing gas/black oil): identified some bottlenecks & established strategies with the aim of optimizing production & increasing the Recovery Factor of the field.•Pimienta Shale (unconventional resources): defined the best practices to be applied on the drilling/completion of wells on some hot spot areas based in the Prospectivity Evaluation made up from available seismic/core analysis/well log data. It was considering key factors like Reservoir Quality/Completion Quality/Operation Efficiency to optimize productivity of wells, and using some drilling/completion process, production profiles & performance (IP/EUR), and assessment of Economics coming from several analog wells located in the Eagle Ford/Bakken/Niobrara/others US Shale Plays.•Ayin Field (GOM offshore field with 5 wells producing from clastic/carbonate): worked on the identification of the driving mechanisms of producing layers by mean of Material Balance assessment & further generation of a Dynamic Flow model of the field. Despite of some challenges regarding behavior of clastic/carbonate formations and presence of water, formulated a development plan of the potential zones. Generated a reservoir optimization strategy supported with a continuous reservoir monitoring in order to get the most of production from the identified pay zones.•Handled/evaluated dynamic data in the areas of Well Performance/Production Analysis/Material Balance/Production Forecasting/DCA Analysis/Well Productivity/ & Damage Assessment.
