   Refactored pipeline that processed +5M rows per hour using Snowflake streams. Saving ~$27K annually- Architected and implemented our dbt CI/CD pipeline using CircleCI, Github Actions and Snowflake. This feature allows data modelers to add or change models with confidence. Their work is tested against existing models before and after merging to Production- Led the vendor selection, POC and integration of Hightouch as our Reverse ETL platform. This move allowed us to deprecate 9 custom ruby rETL pipelines and to boost trust in the Salesforce data export process. It has also lowered the learning curve to troubleshoot and implement new rETL pipelines. Being an expert in AWS EC2, Docker, Ruby and Salesforce Bulk API are no longer a requirement to collaborate- As the engineer with the most legacy codebase experience. I led the \"keep the lights on\" project. Supporting our patrons using our old warehouse and data ecosystem. This allowed the rest of our team to move forward with the modernization of our infrastructure- I have been a vocal advocate for the well being of my teammates through the fast growth of our team. It has helped us become a high performing team with trust, camaraderie, psychological safety and grit as foundation.
