ABOUT RAFAELI ROMERO

As a senior at Manhattan College, I am a dedicated and ambitious civil engineering student with a passion for structural engineering. I am committed to achieving my bachelors degree in this field, with two additional minors in business and mathematics. These additional areas of study provide me with a well-rounded skill set, allowing me to approach projects from a holistic perspective and better understand the business and financial aspects of engineering. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also actively engaged in extracurricular activities. I have served as the Internal Vice President of SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers), a club in my college. Through this role, I have the opportunity to spread STEM awareness for Latinos and provide them with the resources and opportunities to grow through networking events and hands-on experience. This experience has allowed me to develop my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. With my technical skills and passion for structural engineering, combined with my background in business and mathematics, I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to any organization. I am excited to apply my knowledge and abilities to real-world projects and am eager to learn and grow in a professional setting.
