WORK HISTORY
Fulbright Scholar Specialist Award @The Fulbright Program
NY, US
Fulbright award to Czech Republic from May to June 2025. I am honored to pursue the opportunity to serve as a Fulbright Specialist, sharing my expertise in transdisciplinary education and resilience thinking—particularly through Transdisciplinary Epistemic Practices (TEPs) in STEAM education. My work, including the NSF-funded research project at Pratt Institute, has focused on bridging STEM disciplines with creative fields like art, design, and architecture to equip students and educators with the skills needed to address real-world challenges.A core aspect of my approach is resilience thinking—a systems-based methodology that fosters adaptability, empathy, and innovative problem-solving. My research demonstrates how resilience-focused interventions enhance students’ ability to navigate complex social-ecological challenges, such as climate change and social inequities. As a Fulbright Specialist, I aim to bring this framework to an international audience, collaborating with host institutions to develop tailored workshops and programs that integrate TEPs and resilience thinking into education. Through initiatives like Resilience Thinking Laboratories, curriculum design support, and capacity-building programs, I strive to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and long-term institutional impact. This experience will also enrich my work at Pratt Institute—enhancing our sustainability curriculum, strengthening global partnerships, and equipping students with cutting-edge methodologies. My broader mission is to advance transdisciplinary education worldwide, empowering the next generation to think critically, collaborate effectively, and create meaningful change.#Fulbright #STEAMeducation #ResilienceThinking #TransdisciplinaryEducation #GlobalCollaboration #HigherEdInnovation
