ABOUT RAFAELA M.
PhD student in Political Science (International Relations). Master in International Relations at IRI - Institute of International Relations at PUC-Rio (Brazil) and Graduated in International Relations at the Catholic University of Petrópolis (Brazil). Currently, she is associated with the Public Banking Project at McMaster University. She was a Substitute Professor at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), she also was a Project Assistant at BRICS Research Institute (DUT, South Africa) and a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Development Cooperation and Financing (LACID) at BRICS Policy Center. She is assistant editor of the CADERNOS Journal of International Relations at IRI/PUC-Rio. She is currently a member of the State, Institutions and Economic Analysis of Law Research Group (GPEIA/UFF). She was a researcher in the study group on International Political Economy at the Catholic University of Petrópolis, conducting research on the role of cities in the international system, was a volunteer researcher in the Latin American Study Group (GEAL), and was also part of the editorial board of the Journal NEIBA (UERJ). She worked professionally at NEKI and Serratec, both technological institutions, where she carried out international marketing and communication activities. Currently, she directs her interests in the area of International Political Economy, Multilateral Development Bank, Public Banks, BRICS, Development and International Institutions.
