Rafael Mation is a SOC Analyst specializing in Threat Detection and Incident Response. He has over 5 years in the Security industry experience with over 4 years focusing on SOC Incident Response, Investigation and Monitoring. He has experience in implementing and managing information security advisory services in the areas of; Finance, Education, Risk and Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Threat Hunting, Intrusion Detection and Incident Response. He is exceptional at delivering large-scale information protection initiatives and is very technically competent. Through his professional experience and networks, Rafael has been exposed to and assimilated various branches of Information Security and Information Technology. Through his experience, he has had several opportunities to propose, implement, manage and maintain various InfoSec and InfoTech assignments, delivering technical hands-on and leadership responsibilities as required. Collaborate with the SOC Engineer in identifying use cases that leverage existing tools to enable automation and improve detection. Contribute to threat hunting activates by supporting the definition of hunting test cases, and work closely with the Nokia Cyber Security team for improvements and assessment of new technologies and practices.
