Leading the transformation of Goss Media’s backend into a fully event-driven, microservices-based gaming platform built on.NET Core 8 (LTS) and deployed serverlessly on AWS.Architecture & Microservices: Designed and implemented 20+ independent microservices for core business domains such as user management, multi-currency wallets, gamification, rewards, content workflows, and notifications. Leveraged PostgreSQL (Aurora Serverless) for transactional data with automated backups and multi-AZ high availability, and DynamoDB for operational data like real-time connections, rate limiting, and ephemeral authentication codes.Authentication & Security: Multi-provider authentication (Firebase, AWS Cognito, API Key, Phone/SMS), VPC isolation, KMS-encrypted secrets, TLS enforcement, and distributed rate limiting to ensure compliance and security.Real-Time & Async Processing: Event-driven architecture with WebSocket APIs via API Gateway for live updates, Lambda listeners for fan-out event processing, and scheduled Lambda jobs via EventBridge for background operations.Infrastructure & CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD with environment-based deployments. Serverless infrastructure managed with CloudFormation, CloudFront for global caching, and RDS Proxy for efficient database connections.Impact: Delivered enterprise-scale operations supporting real-time user interactions, complex financial workflows, automated processing of rewards and tasks, with improved maintainability, testability, reliability, and developer productivity.
