About Rafael Dariolli
As a co-founder and the head of cardiovascular modeling at Bonds Biosystems, I co-lead our Company towards our main goal of making 3D mini organs mainstream. At Bonds Bio, we provide innovative 3D solutions for drug discovery, development and disease modeling, such as adipose tissue and heart tissue spheroids and organoids, and we are working on developing more mini-organs and 3D platforms for various applications.I have over 15 years of experience in cardiovascular science and cell therapy, with a PhD in cardiovascular physiology and regeneration from Universidade de São Paulo Medicine School. I have a strong track record of leading and contributing to multiple preclinical studies using hiPSC cardiomyocytes to treat injured heart in small and large animal models, as well as studies on cardiotoxicity and cardiac risk assessment. I have also published several papers in the field of cardiovascular research.My mission is to use my expertise and passion to create and improve 3D cardiovascular models that can help advance the discovery and development of novel therapeutics and diagnostics.
