ABOUT RAFAEL BELLOC
I am a Transportation Project Manager and Professional Engineer with work experience in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Arizona, Florida and Minnesota. I specialize in roadway geometry, protected bicycle & pedestrian design/planning, urban design, and transit (BRT and alike) design.I have organized and led teams on project pursuits, scope and fee development, alternatives analysis, and final design. I have also served as an engineering team manager. In these roles I manage technical staff and help with workload balancing and staff development. I also coordinate with other managers across the region in various states to discuss work sharing and develop connections to aid in delivering projects efficiently. I consider myself to be very outgoing, optimistic, and energetic. My work passions include leading and developing teams, advancing technical knowledge, and providing client management, support and development. I enjoy working on impactful projects that aim to improve mobility for all modes of transportation that required a unique design solution tailored for the clients needs. While I am not working I love spending time with my wife, my 1 year old son, my dog, and my extended family and friends. We enjoy anything that gets us outside in the sunshine and spend most of our summer weekends in a tent.
