About Raeonna Jefferson
Hello! My name is Raeonna Jefferson and I’m a recent graduate of Lehman College in NYC, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I’m currently based in the DMV area and working as an Associate Financial Planner at Zenith Wealth Partners.My passion lies in financial planning and wealth management, particularly in helping underserved communities build stronger financial foundations and shift their mindset around money. I recently obtained my Series 65 certification and am now actively studying to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).My path to finance wasn’t traditional—I started college as a Nursing major. But when COVID hit, I had to pause and ask myself whether the healthcare field was truly where I wanted to be. A conversation with my grandfather challenged me to think differently about how I could help others. I realized I was thinking only from a literal sense and that I should shift my thinking. I came to the conclusion that I could impact people\'s lives through money management and investing.I am enjoying my journey so far and want to use this platform to document my journey in the world of finance.
