Rael is one of the first 10 hires for Gopuff, the go-to platform for consumers immediate everyday needs, which quickly fulfills customer orders of cleaning and home products to over-the-counter medications to food and drinks, and in some markets, alcohol. With over 600+ locations and plus products serving over global cities, Gopuff delivers thousands of products in about 30 GoPuff, I’ve worked in local operations, district & region management, ultimately finding my passion in opening and launching new MFCs for the company. The total number exponentially grew year over year, totaling ~600 so far.Leading new MFC launches, I formed a great deal of devotion and expertise for Real Estate Development, Construction, Procurement, Permit & Licensing and most importantly, launching multiple facilities each week against a deadline, with the support of amazing teammates from all departments, checking each box together.On September 1st 2021, I had a life-changing accident, in which a car hit and cornered me against the back of my rental truck, the day that I was switching apartments. The accident left me amputated on both legs, above knee. Miraculously, a great team of first responders, trauma surgeons and doctors were able to save my life. With the amazing support of my family, my friends, my dear GoPuff team and the two amazing Co-Founders, I am currently working on Physical Therapy in Houston in order to learn how to walk again with Prosthetic legs. Day by day, I am getting stronger, remembering that I am lucky to be alive and reminding myself of how much love and support I have received from the people that surround and cared for me. What doesn’t kill us, can only make us stronger. I am slowly getting back to work, increasing my working hours every day.Born in Albania and the eldest child of two entrepreneurial parents, I learned to speak 5 languages and I’ve always had great passion for new ideas and the “Making Moves” mentality. I moved to Philadelphia at the age of 18 to study Business & Engineering at Drexel University, where after a few jobs and my Junior year, I met the GoPuff Co-Founders and joined the GoPuff team.
