ABOUT RAECHEL BOWMAN DUDEK

After completing my undergraduate studies in Political Science and Religion, I aspired to pursue a career in government or the public sector. Following my graduation with a Master’s in Public Administration, I received an unexpected opportunity from Ford Motor Company to join their team as a Legislative Analyst. Although my focus had primarily been on the public sector, I embraced this role and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the work. I transitioned into a Sales and Marketing position, which proved to be an ideal fit as I pursued my law degree in the evenings while maintaining full-time employment. My initial intention in attending law school was to become a prosecutor or to engage in human rights law. However, after graduating and passing the bar exam, I realized my passion for working at Ford was too strong to leave. Throughout my career, I have concentrated on Sales and Marketing, utilizing my educational background to gain insights into both the perspectives of small businesses—through collaboration with our dealers—and the operations of a large global enterprise from our General Office. I have effectively applied my diplomatic skills to enhance the relationships between Ford, our dealers, and customers, driven by a commitment to collaboration and finding common ground. I have been fortunate to work under leaders who genuinely prioritize creating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging. I firmly believe that the relationships we cultivate are instrumental in overcoming challenges and achieving success as a team.
