About Rae Parks

Rae is an experienced nonprofit professional with expertise in organizational operations and program management, holding justice, accountability, and healing practices as core foundational values. She has experience in narrative and data-driven grant reporting, CRM and data management, risk management at both the organizational and program level, youth program management, curriculum design and facilitation, hiring, onboarding and training staff, volunteer management, and managing physical assets. She has a background in outdoor environmental education and field science research, maintains a Wilderness First Responder certification, and provides specialized support in these areas to her organization\'s outdoor youth programs. Her first job was teaching beginning piano lessons as a high school student teacher. Rae holds a BA from Western Washington University and is working part time towards her Masters in Leadership for Sustainability through the University of Vermont. On the weekends you might find Rae sewing her own clothes, training to hike her next \'14er\' in Colorado, and trying to figure out if the problem with her dying houseplants is underwatering or overwatering (she\'s really not sure which).
