ABOUT RADU CRAIOVEANU
Radu brings over 30 years of experience in product development in various roles. Radu spent half of his career in data-communications and tele-communications, being the founding member of a couple of startups during the.net boom. He then entered the world of healthcare, which he enjoyed immensely, combining process, people and technology to deliver value and improve patients\' lives. He was initially responsible for the Philips Healthcare EMR product line (OR, ICU and OB). He then moved on to Fresenius Medical Care, where he spent 12 years building the world\'s largest clinical information system, with Point of Care, Patient Management, Value Based Care, and IoT platforms, systems and applications. After a 2 year journey working on Point of Care Diagnostics products at Siemens Healthineers, Radu returned to Fresenius Medical Care, this time in their Medtech, Digital Services and Solutions group, working on digital innovation and transformation, as the Head of Enterprise Platform Archiecture.Radu believes in continuous education, holds a BSEE from Tufts University, Masters Certificate in Health Information Management Systems from Cornell University, and various certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Math and Machine Learning as well as Agile Processes. He likes to share his learnings by speaking and collaborating at HIMSS, AHIMA and other industry related forums. Outside of work, Radu enjoys working out, practicing Tae Kwon Do, hiking and traveling.
